Description
This is a hard-driving swinger in the Basie tradition, with a hint of Sammy Nestico & Thad Jones! Piano, tenor sax and trumpet solos are featured on a variation of a 16-bar blues form. The sax section will enjoy a difficult sounding sax soli, that will challenge them without being horribly difficult. After the sax soli, tight ensembles build to an exciting ending. A definite “winner”.
