Description
This is a moderate tempo bossa composition with nice chord changes and features good soloing opportunities for trumpet (flugel), tenor sax and piano. Rich brass voicings and a range under high C will make this an attractive concert number for both high school and college jazz ensembles. Title trivia: “Nokomis” is the name of both a lake & a neighborhood in Minneapolis.
