This is a Great Book for the aspiring high school or college trumpeter (or even a “comeback player”), combining elements of some of the most popular methods used over the years. Each lesson is designed for the typical 1/2-Hour Lesson and a serious student’s practice week. It covers a variety of technical andmusical elements and the Eleven Weeks worth of lessons work the student to Major & Minor Keys up to Four Sharps & Flats! I used this method with great success for all of my first year trumpet students when teaching at Gustavus Adolphus College.

There are both mouthpiece and “moving long tone” style warmups, some great tips for practicing and a supplementary scale section, as well as range exercises.

The book is printed on high grade 70# paper and bound with heavy coil binding, which allows the method to sit flat on your music stand!
