Description
Written for the Gustavus Jazz Lab Band, this is a unique blues in C, to F, to Ab, to Bb, to G and then back “home” again to the key of C. It features solos by trumpet, alto, trombone & piano respectively. The head is first played in unison and then by six horns. This is a great way to feature a bunch of soloists AND work through the blues in five different keys – good experience for the rhythm section especially!
